English Minor
A strong understanding of the English language and good written and verbal communication skills are important regardless of your chosen field. Mercyhurst College offers an English minor for students wishing to enhance their chosen degree program by developing their knowledge of literature, writing and composition.
The course requirements for the English minor include:
- American Classics and British Classics
- Three preseminars: One of the three must be drawn from American literature
- Three special topics seminars: One of the three must be drawn from American literature
